At Meyer Clinic we are always looking at the ways Regenerative Medicine can help improve patient outcomes and these two treatments which we often recommend alongside each other, really are game changers.
EXOSOMES
EXOSOMES are one of the most exciting developments in Regenerative Treatments, because they are really effective at helping skin to slow down and help reverse the visible signs of ageing, by helping the skin help itself – clever stuff! We combine Exosomes with in-clinic skin treatments such as microneedling, laser and polynucleotides and also for hair loss and hair growth treatments. We offer both in-clinic treatments with Exosomes and at-home skincare too which helps to continue the excellent work, post-treatment. As these are regenerative treatments the cell signaling needs time to take effect, patients usually notice improvement to the appearance and texture of skin after about two weeks, but the full effect usually takes about six to eight weeks.
EXOSOME BENEFITS
Many patients are looking for ways to help the skin renew itself, and Exosomes dramatically reduce wound healing times, noticeably reduce the appearance of age-related pigmentation, increase the firmness of the skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, hydrate and nourish the skin, and promote the production of collagen and elastin. It is an impressive list of benefits, all of which are Regenerative, Rejuvenating and Restorative.
HOW DO THEY WORK?
Exosomes are actually minuscule particles that are naturally released from cells and contain all the building blocks needed for cellular repair. Their main function is to enable cell-to-cell communication. They penetrate the skin easily due to their fatty envelopes and then trigger the regeneration and production of collagen and elastin on each application whilst reducing any skin discomfort and inflammation during in-clinic treatment.
EXOSOMES AT MEYER CLINIC
At Meyer Clinic we use EXO|E Skin Revitalising Complex, an innovative treatment that utilises biomimetic plant stem cell technology to optimise the skin, including growth factors, peptides, liposomes, amino acids, proteins, and PDENs (plant derived extracellular nanoparticles). Within an EXO|E treatment protocol, around 30 billion extracellulare vesicles are used. The treatment compromises of three stages, including D|TOX, EXO|E, and RE|PAIR.
POLYNUCLEOTIDES
POLYNUCLEOTIDES are also part of our regenerative medicine offering at Meyer Clinic. They form the building blocks for all cellular processes and were originally developed for wound care but have since been developed for use in aesthetic care. They can be used to improve damaged skin, treat scarring, improve androgenetic alopecia and hair loss and to prime skin before surgery. They can also be used on the face and difficult to treat areas of skin such as under the eyes and top lip. At Meyer Clinic we combine polynucleotide treatment with LED light therapy and Exosomes to enhance treatment outcome
HOW DO THEY WORK?
They have a potent biostimulator function acting as powerful antioxidants, and can also reduce inflammation, reduce hyperpigmentation, improve healing, stimulate collagen 1 and 3 formation, improve micro-circulation, and increase elastin. Polynucleotides are derived from the raw material of trout, the DNA goes through an ultra-purification step to produce the highest grade product that has been used in scientific, evidence based medicine for over 40 years.
POLYNUCLEOTIDES AT MEYER CLINIC
At Meyer Clinic, tiny skin injections are performed either with a needle, or with a cannula. Treatment protocol includes three treatments, three weeks apart. It is ideally used in “skin priming” to re-balance skin in preparation before or in combination with other treatment or surgery.
